Usher signs people in. To do that it has to know a little about them, and we keep that little as small and as safe as we can.

Who we are

Usher is made by Maverick Systems. When this policy says “we”, it means Maverick Systems.

Two kinds of people

• Developers who use Usher Console to add sign-in to their apps. We hold your account details and what you configure.
• People who sign in to those apps through the Lobby. The app’s developer decides what Usher asks for; Usher holds it on their behalf, in that environment alone.

What we keep

• Your email address, and your name and picture if you give them.
• How you sign in: passkeys (the public half only), hashed passwords, and whether a second factor is on.
• Your signed-in devices, so you can see them and sign them out.
• A log of security events, so you and we can spot misuse.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell personal data.
• This site uses no analytics and no third-party scripts, and sets no tracking cookies.

You can see, change and delete your Usher account at account.usher.hallelo.net. For anything else, write to privacy@usher.hallelo.net.
